In the depths of hidden strife, I wear a mask,
A veil concealing the pain, an intricate task.
Behind the facade of a smile so bright,
Lies a world of darkness, hidden from sight.
I craft these masks with utmost care,
To shield my soul from a world unfair.
But cracks emerge, and masks grow thin,
Revealing the battles I hold within.
The breaking of the mask that disguises, a painful art,
A journey of healing, a brand-new start.
In vulnerability, I find my might,
As I step into the liberating light.
Tears may flow like a cleansing rain,
Washing away the facade, releasing the pain.
In honesty and courage, I take my stand,
Embracing the help from a guiding hand.
No longer imprisoned by the mask I wear,
I breathe in the freedom of the open air.
Authenticity shines, a beacon so bright,
Breaking the mask, I reclaim my light.
With empathy and love, I can now see,
The beauty in vulnerability, the strength to be free.
In unity, I rise, no longer alone,
My mask shattered and overthrown.
For in this journey, I truly find,
That healing begins when you’re honest and kind.
To yourself and others, i extend my grace,
Breaking the mask, I find my rightful place.
